Afghanistan has moved up 24 spots in the list of anti-corruption rankings.

Asvaka News (Wednesday/01/02/2023): Afghanistan has reportedly moved up 24 spots in the battle against corruption, according to Transparency International Organization, since the Taliban took over the country.
Afghanistan climbed up one spot, from 174th to 150th, in the rankings in 2022, according to this organization’s study. On Tuesday, January 31, the Transparency International Organization stated that Afghanistan, which received 24 points in the previous year, was rated 150th out of 180 nations in terms of global government corruption.

In 2021, this country was ranked 174th on this list with 16 points.

It should be noted that Afghanistan ranked worst on this list for its efforts to combat corruption, and one of its main problems in recent years has been the infiltration of money laundering and administrative corruption.
